This amazing LGBTTQ couple got married at San Francisco city hall in June and it was an amazing day. This gay couple attracted a lot of attention from onlookers with the striking wedding outfits they both wore. With each of them wearing white, they really made a statement and received lots of compliments from many and even other newlywed couples that also were married that day at San Francisco city hall.

In the photo above, I thought it would like nice to bend the bride back slightly to really highlight the veil. In doing so, it slightly separates her veil to make it stand out even more. In addition, I had my remote off-camera flash positioned on that side of the couple to make the veil glow slightly. This Grand Staircase image at San Francisco city hall is a favorite of all of the couples that come to this venue, including this beautiful gay couple.

In another attempt to highlight the wedding dress and veil, I hid my off-camera flash behind the bride and set it on low power. This provided just enough back lighting to create this dramatic angelic image above. As you can see the bride’s dress was partially illuminated and the veil took on a significant glow.

Our gorgeous couple enjoying their walk down the Grand Staircase at San Francisco city hall. Is there really nobody else in the building? Actually there is, we removed people in the background to enhance this image. We use Photoshop AI technology to do this, ensuring that you will receive no images with strangers in the background. As a leading San Francisco city hall wedding photographer, we feel it is our duty to make these edits for our newlywed couples.

Here is another example of using our remote off-camera professional lighting set up to enhance the couple. This dynamic type of posing involves having our bride spin while the other bride looks on. I captured multiple shots of her spinning with rapid fire shots until the perfect moment is captured. I think you will agree this is one of those moments.

For this photo we decided to have our brides do a dance dip by one of the prettiest San Francisco City Hall windows. The light coming from the window had the effect of making the veil glow and also the back of the dress. This is why I asked the bride to hold her dress out a little bit so would catch the light coming through the window. SF City Hall provides us all kinds of great wedding photography opportunities like this one. In this particular case no off-camera light was needed because we just used the natural light coming from the window.

We like to call this San Francisco City Hall image our “hallway shot”. We bring our newlywed couples to the 2nd floor hallway because it possesses repeating lines and overhead lights. This provides a beautiful backdrop for our LBGTQ brides to pose in. It can sometimes be a difficult photo to pull off because there are lots of other people that like to roam through these hallways. But we find that if we are patient we can usually capture it.

This romantic pose was actually completed using the handicapped rail as prop for the photo. The beautiful golden colors make a nice contrast to the white wedding attire our brides are wearing. We love doing this type of photo when we have a beautiful veil to work with like this.

This City Hall wedding photo captures many of the beautiful things that make this venue such a great place for wedding photography. You can see the beautiful staircase, the golden rail, and the lights in the corner of the picture. Of course our beautiful brides make the photo perfect. San Francisco City Hall has many stunning areas to capture wonderful photos like this one.

Here is a new pose and background we’ve just started using at San Francisco City Hall. We like it because it sort of feels intimate and private. One of the great things about being a San Francisco City Hall wedding photographer is we keep finding new places like this to capture amazing images of our newlyweds.
