This city hall image was taken on the North side of the building using one of the windows for natural light. We did not use any type of artificial light for this particular image, relying instead solely on the available light. Sometimes doing this will cause a little bit of uneven lighting on the subject, but I feel strongly that the risk is worth it because the benefits can be amazing. Natural light coming in through a north facing window is soft and provides a glow to the image. This couple was easy to work with and willing to try different types of poses. We make sure that all of our couples are comfortable with any type of posing we request. We will never ask anything from our couples unless they are OK with it.
