Palace of Fine Arts Fountain - San Francisco

The Palace of Fine Arts is one of the most iconic destinations and tourist stops in San Francisco. It seems that pretty much everyone has heard about it or been there. It is one of the first stops for Asian Tourists and people that actually live and work in San Francisco love to hang out there just to relax. A large grassy area makes it the perfect spot to picnic or just hang out and people watch. Of course we have to mention that the Palace is also a very popular place for wedding photographers to bring their newlyweds for memorable images

Great Wedding Photography Location

As mentioned, we love to take our married couples throughout the grounds. The fact is, you can spend an hour or more just wandering around with your bride and groom taking wedding pictures at all the various spots. We feel that the best city hall wedding photographers also like to come here after their civil ceremony and we are no exception. In the photo above, we tried to change it up slightly from the typical Palace of Fine Arts picture that shows the whole building, pond and fountain. We wanted to give the couple a different look and so captured this cool image. Of course, we will also provide them with a wide angle shot to compliment this photo. Variety is always nice and we love to give our brides and groom lots of choices. One of the reasons we use zoom lenses is that it allows up the opportunity to capture close up shots and then wide angle views with one twist of the lens. This provides the couple with a choice of the type of images they want. We love it best when our couple tells us after the wedding that they had too many great photos and could barely narrow down their favorites.
